Matt Cahillane, MPH, Program Manager, DHHS -Health Officer Liaison

The New Hampshire Health Officers Association is a Professional Organization of

Local Health Officials Serving All of New Hampshire

Members play a vital role in the organization through their work on various committees and commission groups. Health Officer representation is important to widen our visibility and broaden our knowledge. Some of the Board's goals in 2016 are to review the Health Officer's Manual, keep informed of any legislation which may affect health officers, and continue our involvement with various committees. The board will update the website with information as it becomes available.

A Few of the Benefits:

Reviews and studies current and future legislation affecting public health and environmental health

Takes appropriate actions to protect and promote the interests of cities and towns

Represents local health officers at the state level

Attend one of the educational conferences at a discount rate

Provides local officials with specialized training

And many more...
